I know – it’s been a while. COVID shut down our travel pretty significantly for a bit, and a LOT of life has happened over the last 2+ years that caused maintaining the Traveling Chucks blog/instagram to fall to the back burner. After lots of thought and some changes in my life priorities, I’ve decided to close up the Life in Traveling Chucks brand and focus solely on my small business, The Anchor & Bird. I’m so very grateful to everyone who followed our journey when I initially started the Chucks blog back in 2017, who stuck with us as we adventured through California and the rest of the USA, and who gave us plenty of recommendations and ideas of things to do on those adventures. We are lucky to have had so many fun and cool experiences thanks to your suggestions.
But ultimately, I’m not going *too* far- as I mentioned before, I’m now focusing on my business, and this site is in the process of transitioning into a website for my shop(s). For those of you who don’t know, I launched The Anchor & Bird on Etsy in 2018 and added The Anchor & Bird Apparel in 2021. Both those Etsy shops are open and currently shoppable: theanchorandbird.etsy.com and anchorandbirdapparel.etsy.com . I’m working on building a shop here, and while all of that behind-the-scenes work is going on, I’ll be sharing gift guides, crafting photos, and lots more.
Thanks for being a part of my journey so far, and I’m so excited for you to join me on the next chapter of this adventure!
